Oregon State Lands Three Star Receiver From California

Rising talent Jackson Batch, a 6-foot-3 receiver with impressive stats, chooses Oregon State to kick off their 2027 recruiting class.

Oregon State has kicked off its 2027 recruiting class with a promising addition, securing a commitment from Jackson Batch, a talented three-star receiver from Cesar Chavez High School in Stockton, California. Batch, standing at an impressive 6-foot-3 and weighing 180 pounds, opted for the Beavers over offers from San Diego State, Air Force, and New Mexico.

In a heartfelt announcement on social media, Batch expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am incredibly excited and grateful to announce my commitment to Oregon State University. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family, coaches, teammates, and friends. LET’S GO TO WORK #GoBeavers."

Batch's stats from his junior season speak volumes about his potential. He racked up 45 receptions for 704 yards and found the end zone nine times in just seven games. Add to that his 120 yards on kickoff returns, and it’s clear why he’s ranked as the No. 1,255 overall prospect and the No. 107 athlete according to the 247Sports Composite.

With Batch joining the fold, Oregon State becomes the fourth Pac-12 team to secure a commitment for the 2027 class. The Beavers now find themselves tied for 75th overall and fourth in the Pac-12 in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

This commitment not only strengthens their future roster but also signals their intent to compete fiercely within the conference. Keep an eye on Batch as he looks to bring his dynamic playmaking abilities to the college stage.
