Oregon Star Dakorien Moore Signals Return Ahead of Playoff Showdown

Oregons offense could get a major boost just in time for the Playoff, as star receiver Dakorien Moore teases a return from injury.

Oregon fans just got a big boost heading into the College Football Playoff: standout wide receiver Dakorien Moore appears to be on the verge of returning to action.

Moore, who’s been sidelined for the last four games with a knee injury, posted a simple but telling message to Instagram on Thursday night: “Back.” That’s the kind of word that speaks volumes-especially when it comes from one of the most electric playmakers on the Ducks’ roster.

While Moore is still officially listed as “questionable” on Oregon’s player availability report for Saturday’s matchup against No. 12 seed James Madison, the signs are pointing in the right direction. He wasn’t the only one back on the field either.

Gary Bryant Jr. (ankle) and Evan Stewart (right knee) also remain questionable, but both were active in practice this week. Moore and Bryant even took reps on punt return duty during Monday’s session, which is a strong indicator that they’re trending toward game-ready.

Before the injury, Moore was leading the Ducks in receiving with 28 catches for 443 yards and three touchdowns. That production came as no surprise-he was the top-ranked receiver in last year’s recruiting class and has lived up to the hype every time he’s stepped on the field.

His ability to stretch the field, work underneath, and create separation makes him a nightmare for opposing secondaries. And if he’s truly back to full speed?

Oregon’s offense just got a major upgrade.

The Ducks will need all the firepower they can get against a 12-1 James Madison squad that’s riding serious momentum. Oregon enters the game at 11-1, looking to make a statement and prove they belong among the nation’s elite. Getting Moore back in the fold could be a difference-maker-not just in this game, but in how far this team can go in the postseason.

Bottom line: If Dakorien Moore is indeed back, the Ducks just got a whole lot more dangerous.
