Oregon’s next trip to Autzen Stadium now has a time, a TV window, and the full CBS spotlight.
The Big Ten Conference announced its latest round of broadcast selections, and the Ducks’ October 10 matchup with No. 23 UCLA has been picked as CBS’s game of the week. The kickoff is set for 12:30 PM PT, with Brad Nessler, Charles Davis, and Jenny Dell on the call.
It’s a top-25 meeting between two teams coming off emphatic wins. Oregon went to Southern California and knocked off USC 41-27, doing it while dealing with a scary injury to starting quarterback Dante Moore. Dylan Raiola stepped in and delivered a huge performance after entering five minutes into the second half.
"It's complicated in the way that you don't ever want to see someone be hurt, especially with how much he means to me, how much he teaches me and how much he means to this team.
"But it was a moment of connection, and that's one of our pillars. We just latched on, and we knew it was going to be for him.
I felt like we had such a strong connection going forward from there. The guys understood what it was and what we were doing."
Raiola finished 19 of 25 for 289 yards and two touchdowns, posting a quarterback rating of 199.5 in the win.
UCLA arrives at 4-0 and has climbed into the Top 25 after blasting Maryland 54-3 last weekend. The Bruins also picked up a 52-38 win over Purdue in Week 3, giving them two early Big Ten victories. Their other wins came against California and San Diego State.
Both Oregon and UCLA are off this weekend before meeting in Eugene.
