Laura Eichert’s name is making the rounds well beyond the college volleyball crowd, and it’s not hard to see why. The Oregon Ducks freshman outside hitter has become a viral talking point after social media photos showed her in both her Ducks uniform and, in the image that drew the biggest reaction, a bright bikini while lying on a towel in the sun.
In that Oregon shot, Eichert wore No. 22.
But it was the second picture that lit up the comments, with her abs grabbing all the attention. She later posted more bikini photos on Instagram, and the reactions kept piling up.
“That 6 pack though!” one fan said.
“Her abs 😍😍,” a second fan added. “The abs !
Wow,” one final fan wrote.
Eichert arrived in Eugene as one of the most decorated recruits in the country, and her high school résumé at Lake Stevens in Washington backs that up. The six-foot standout piled up 2,351 career kills and set multiple program records. She also finished with 996 digs, 250 aces and 207 blocks.
Her senior year was especially eye-opening. Eichert put up 633 kills with a .422 hitting percentage and helped lead her team to a 4A state title, finishing that championship run with 44 kills. Her play earned her Under Armour and AVCA All-American honors, and she was named Gatorade Washington Player of the Year twice.
She also delivered in the classroom, maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average. That academic work recently earned her the 2026 KRKO Female Student-Athlete of the Year award.
On the court at Oregon, Eichert has already put together a collegiate double-double, finishing with 14 kills and 17 digs against Washington State.

Week 4 offered a reminder that Oregons roster churn has reached far beyond Eugene, with several former Ducks making their presence felt for new teams. The most visible example came in the win over USC, where backup quarterback Dylan Raiola helped lead the way with 289 passing yards and two touchdowns, a performance that put his transfer path back into the spotlight.
Raiola was hardly alone in turning heads. Kingston Lopa, Kamar Mothudi, Sione Laulea, Makhi Hughes, Keith Brown, Jericho Johnson and Blake Purchase all turned in meaningful work for their new programs, adding another layer to Oregons transfer-era story. Oregon Just Teased A New Look Bruins Fans Need To See
During the bye week, Oregon used a little downtime to stir up plenty of offseason-style intrigue, teasing a new alternate look that fits right into the programs long-running habit of making uniforms part of the brand. The matte black jersey features green and yellow paint streaks, along with a nod to the origin of speed inside the collar, a clear callback to the Chip Kelly era that helped define a lot of what the Ducks became.
The timing makes the tease even more interesting, with the full reveal expected on September 29 and a possible debut lined up for the October 10 matchup with UCLA. A version of the jersey had already surfaced through Dicks Sporting Goods, both online and in some stores, so the only real mystery now is how Oregon plans to package the finished product when it officially goes public.
