The Oregon Ducks are wasting no time building momentum for the future. With 21 high school signees and 14 transfers already locked in for the 2026 season, the focus in Eugene is shifting quickly to what’s next - and that means a big couple of weekends ahead for Junior Day visits as the Ducks turn their attention to the 2027 recruiting cycle.
This weekend, Oregon is expected to welcome a strong group of prospects to campus, representing a wide range of position groups. And make no mistake - the Ducks are aiming high.
At running back, Oregon’s staff has lined up a pair of intriguing visitors. One is a familiar name: Noah Roberts, the four-star back out of Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona.
Roberts has been on Oregon’s radar for a while, and this visit could be another key step in solidifying that relationship. He brings a mix of speed, vision, and physicality that fits the Ducks’ offensive identity - and he’s a player the staff has clearly prioritized.
Joining him is a newer name on the board: Malachi McFarland, a three-star back from Damien High School in La Verne, California. Oregon extended an offer just last week, and McFarland didn’t waste time locking in a visit. His quick burst and versatility out of the backfield have started to draw more attention, and this visit gives the Ducks a chance to make a strong early impression.
With Junior Day weekends serving as a critical touchpoint in the recruiting calendar, Oregon is setting the stage for what could be a pivotal stretch in building out its 2027 class. The staff is casting a wide net, but they’re doing it with intention - targeting players who fit the program’s culture and long-term vision.
The Ducks have already laid a strong foundation for 2026. Now, the next wave is on deck.
