Oregon is rolling with a familiar look for Saturday night’s matchup with Nebraska, and the Ducks revealed the combo the usual Wednesday Night way.
For Game 6, Oregon will wear green helmets, black jerseys and green pants. The helmets feature black wings on the sides with a matching green facemask, while the black jerseys come with patterned shoulders, grey patterned numbers outlined in green and green names on the back.

It’s not a brand-new look for the Ducks. Oregon wore this same combination on October 11th last season against Indiana, a game the Ducks lost. The main difference this time around is on the helmets, where the wings will be black instead of the grey version used last season.
The reveal comes after last week’s “Origin of Speed” uniform debut in the loss to UCLA, a look plenty of fans probably won’t be eager to see again. This week, Oregon goes back to a more classic setup, even if the uniforms are taking a back seat to what happens on the field.
At this point, that’s the bigger issue for the Ducks. The flash still matters, but Oregon needs a win badly and has to keep grinding on offense until Dante Moore returns. Saturday night is another chance to steady things and get back on track.
The Ducks host Nebraska at Autzen Stadium on Saturday night. Fox will televise the game, with kickoff set for 8:00 PM PT or 11:00 PM ET.

Akili Smith Jr. Is Suddenly A Real Factor In Oregon's QB Battle
The quarterback picture in Eugene is still very much in motion, but Akili Smith Jr. has worked his way into the conversation in a meaningful way. Oregon coach Dan Lanning said the sophomore is being considered as a potential starter against Nebraska, a notable development for a player who had seen limited game action this season but has clearly taken a step forward in practice and in preparation.
Smith brings the kind of physical tools that keep coaches intrigued, and his emergence adds another layer to a battle that remains unsettled. Dante Moore, Dylan Raiola and Brock Thomas are still part of the mix, so Oregon is not close to a final answer yet, but Smith's rise gives the Ducks another legitimate option as they sort through one of the most important decisions on the roster. Nebraska Walks Into An Even Bigger Oregon Atmosphere Than Expected
Oregon turned the Nebraska matchup into another full-scale event this week, unveiling its Generation O black, silver and green Fly Era jerseys with senior edge rusher Teitum Tuioti fronting the release. The presentation was cleaner and less over-the-top than some of the programs past uniform drops, but it still served the same familiar purpose: set the tone early, build the buzz, and make sure Autzen Stadium feels like part of the competitive advantage.
The timing only adds to it. With a late kickoff on the schedule, Oregon has already asked fans to show up in green, a small detail that can make a big visual impact once the lights come on. Nebraska is walking into a setting that should be loud, coordinated and unmistakably Oregon, which is exactly the kind of atmosphere the Ducks like to create when a big game arrives in Eugene. Oregons Quarterback Problem Just Got More Complicated For Dan Lanning
The quarterback picture in Eugene has gotten a lot murkier after Oregons loss to UCLA, with Dan Lanning now sorting through a depth chart that has been shaken by injury and inconsistency. Dante Moore remains sidelined with a concussion, and the Ducks are left trying to steady the offense while weighing whether Dylan Raiola can rebound after being benched following a rough outing.
Brock Thomas and Akili Smith Jr. are also in the mix as Oregon searches for the right answer under center, and the uncertainty does not stop there. Starting safety Aaron Flowers is out for the foreseeable future, adding another hit to a roster already dealing with some uncomfortable turnover at a critical point in the season. [Read more 🡒]
