LSU just landed a big-time addition to its offensive line - literally and figuratively.
Former Colorado tackle Jordan Seaton, one of the most coveted names in the transfer portal, has committed to the Tigers. At 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, Seaton brings both size and experience to Baton Rouge, and he’s expected to make an immediate impact up front. He has two years of eligibility remaining and arrives with 22 career starts under his belt, all from his time with the Buffaloes.
Seaton started the first nine games of the 2025 season for Colorado before a knee injury sidelined him for the final three contests. Even with the injury, his stock never dipped - he remained the top offensive lineman available in the portal, and a player widely projected to be a high pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
The Washington, D.C. native drew heavy interest from several major programs, including Texas, Miami, Oregon, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss. But it was LSU that ultimately sealed the deal, following a recent visit that clearly made an impression. Seaton posted a photo from Tiger Stadium with head coach Lane Kiffin on his Instagram story, a move that sent LSU fans into a frenzy and hinted that something big was brewing.
This commitment is another statement move for Kiffin, who’s wasted no time reshaping LSU’s roster since taking over in November. Seaton joins a growing list of high-profile transfers making their way to Baton Rouge, including quarterback Sam Leavitt and edge rusher Princewill Umanmielen.
Adding a player like Seaton is about more than just plugging a hole on the offensive line - it’s about setting a tone. LSU is clearly aiming to be more physical in the trenches, and Seaton gives them an anchor at tackle who can protect the quarterback and pave the way in the run game. His blend of power, footwork, and experience makes him a foundational piece for the Tigers moving forward.
With Seaton now in the fold, LSU’s offensive line just got a whole lot tougher - and the rest of the SEC should take notice.
