Lane Kiffin’s daughter made sure her latest move landed in a very loud week.
Landry Kiffin launched Fifth Year on Monday, just days before LSU travels to Ole Miss on Saturday. The brand account announced the drop with, “FIFTH YEAR X LANDRY KIFFIN LIVE NOW!!
get it before it’s gone on fifthyr.com.” The launch image showed Landry with two friends in cropped sets and boots.
By Tuesday, she was already thanking the early buyers. “Seeing so many of you on the website the second we launched, placing orders and supporting Fifth Year, was the best feeling ever.”
The brand’s own description makes clear what it’s selling: “Designed for women in college and beyond, our collections blend athletic wear, loungewear, elevated essentials, and accessories in our signature colors inspired by the schools we love and the traditions that bring us together.” The site offers activewear, lounge pieces, jackets, hoodies and gameday looks in school-inspired colors.
The timing could hardly be louder. Kiffin left Oxford for Baton Rouge last December, and this week’s matchup keeps both programs in the top 10.
Rebels fans still remember the move, and Landry has lived in the middle of that split for a while now. She dated LSU linebacker Whit Weeks publicly during the week those teams played last year, and she once told upset Ole Miss fans that she wished she “could be as creative as angry football fans.”
Her wardrobe has tracked the divide, too. The brand’s looks include a navy leather crop, a matching skort and what it calls “your new gameday uniform.”
Landry has already tried other lanes, including teaching Pilates at Ole Miss, pushing ALO workouts after the LSU move and teasing a cooking channel with Weeks. But Fifth Year is the first project she’s put behind a storefront and a checkout.
There’s family history in the background as well. Kiffin once stayed at Ole Miss after Landry asked him not to leave for Auburn, though he did not stay the second time.
Landry kept posting Rebels content after the jump and later showed up in purple and gold. Layla Kiffin opened a Baton Rouge studio across from Tiger Stadium, while Landry went into clothing.
Now the family has two storefronts and one very tense Saturday ahead. LSU and Ole Miss will handle the football. Landry Kiffin already got the product out the door.
