A closer look at the record also shows how the setting has mattered. Two of those eight losses came at Western Kentucky, in mismatched trips to LSU in 2015 and Alabama in 2016.
Against top-10 opponents as a coach at a Power Four school, Brohm is 5-6. At Louisville, he is 2-2, and that doesn’t even include one of his signature Cardinals wins: a 33-21 victory over Notre Dame in 2023.

The highlights are hard to miss. Purdue’s 49-20 rout of then-No.
