Oklahoma State has put its first 2026 two-deep on paper, and that means the countdown to Tulsa is officially underway.
The Cowboys released their initial depth chart for the season opener, giving the team and its fans a first look at how the roster is lining up at every spot on offense, defense and special teams. Head coach Eric Morris and his coordinators have already made clear that the rotation is expected to be fluid, especially on defense, but the chart still offers the clearest snapshot yet of where things stand heading into the opener.
There’s plenty of turnover behind it. Oklahoma State is trying to move past a 1-11 season that ended Mike Gundy’s run and brought Morris in from North Texas. Since then, the roster has been completely overhauled, with 92 new players joining just 25 holdovers from last year’s team.
Those returning players have a little extra motivation after Tulsa beat Oklahoma State in Stillwater last season. The newcomers, meanwhile, are just looking to start clean and start fast.
The depth chart itself is labeled subject to change without notice, and the Cowboys listed a starter and backup - or in some cases multiple options - across the board. Among the names appearing on the initial chart are Johnny Dickson III, Desmond Magiya and Shaun Torgeson on the line; Rodney Harris II, Morgan McPhaul, Donovan Green, Oscar Hammond and Broderick Vehrs among the receiving options; Jaleel Johnson, Keviyan Huddleston, Jerry Lawson, Braylon Rigsby and Enai White up front; James Williams, DJ Jackson Jr. and Billy Walton III in another group; Taurean Davis, Mose Phillips III, Vincent Holmes and Kollin Lewis in the next; and Lachie Pozzobon listed as well.
For Oklahoma State, it’s the first official step toward seeing how all of those new pieces fit when Tulsa arrives.
