Training camps are opening around the NFL, and that means it’s time to sort through the Oklahoma State pipeline.
Right now, 23 former Cowboys are on 15 different NFL rosters, including four players from last year’s OSU team who are getting their first crack at the next level. Parker Robertson is with Denver, Kenneth Harris is in New England, Terrill Davis is in Minnesota and Wes Pahl is in Cleveland.
The Browns, Steelers and Lions each have three former Pokes on their rosters. Cleveland’s group includes Tylan Wallace, Teven Jenkins and Pahl, and Wallace’s move there comes with a familiar face in the building: former OSU offensive coordinator Todd Monken is now the Browns’ head coach. Wallace spent the early part of his career in Baltimore before landing in Cleveland.
Another former Cowboy coach is also in the mix. Zac Robinson, the former OSU quarterback, is now the offensive coordinator in Tampa Bay, his third NFL stop.

Steve Lutz is treating Oklahoma States preseason runway as something more valuable than a routine stretch of practice. The Cowboys get 10 official practices before heading to Puerto Rico, and Lutz has made clear those reps matter because they are the foundation for how quickly this group can come together. He has also liked what he has seen so far from a roster that is still sorting itself out, with returning players, freshmen and transfer additions all trying to learn his system at once.

Lutz was at the UAA Finals to scout Payton Jones, a four-star prospect with a growing list of high-major options and a profile that fits the kind of backcourt talent Oklahoma State is trying to stockpile for the future.
The Cowboys already have one 2027 commitment in Tyson Pogi, the legacy guard and Oklahomas top player in that class, but the bigger picture is still taking shape around Jones.
