OU's redshirt sophomore offensive lineman, Eddy Pierre-Louis, is gearing up for the 2026 season with enthusiasm and determination. As a former three-star recruit from the 2024 class, Pierre-Louis made his mark last season by appearing in all 13 games and starting six at left guard. Now, with two solid years behind him, he's ready to embrace a leadership role on the offensive line.
“It comes pretty natural,” Pierre-Louis shared about stepping up vocally. “I’ve been very vocal recently.”
This season, he'll be lining up with familiar faces, including sophomore tackle Michael Fasusi, redshirt senior center Jake Maikkula, and sophomore guard Ryan Fodje. The continuity among these returning starters is something Pierre-Louis values highly.
“We already have a correlation,” he noted. “Now we're all together, and we're bringing in a lot of other guys as well.”
Among the new additions is Arkansas senior transfer E’Marion Harris, who is expected to start at right tackle. Harris brings experience from starting 11 games in 2025 and all 13 in 2024 for the Razorbacks.
With this blend of continuity and fresh talent, Pierre-Louis is focusing on honing his technique and consistency this spring.
“I’ve been working on my flexibility every day, having a consistent basis, like working on my stretches each and every day,” he explained.
His growth isn't just physical but mental as well. “My discipline (has improved),” Pierre-Louis said.
“You don’t have to be up (at the top) each and every day, but you have to continuously make small, good improvements. And that's been the main thing.”
As spring progresses, Pierre-Louis’ development will be crucial in shaping an offensive line poised to make strides in 2026. With experience and new talent meshing together, this group aims to establish itself as a formidable force in the upcoming season.
