Oklahoma City Thunder Land Multiple Stars in Upcoming All-Star Game Lineups

The 2026 NBA All-Star Game debuts a U.S. vs. World format with star-studded lineups-and a few surprises-on both sides.

Despite battling through a wave of injuries, the Oklahoma City Thunder are making their presence felt on the league’s biggest stage: the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend. Two of OKC’s brightest stars - Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - were selected to participate in the All-Star Game, a testament to the Thunder’s rise and the individual brilliance both players have shown this season.

Holmgren, the versatile 7-footer who’s been turning heads with his two-way play, will suit up for the USA Stars squad. Gilgeous-Alexander, meanwhile, was named to the World team, though fans will have to wait a bit longer to see him back in action - he’s sidelined for the weekend due to injury. It’s an unfortunate blow, but it doesn’t take away from the season he’s having - one that’s placed him firmly in the MVP conversation.

This year’s All-Star format brings a fresh twist. For the first time, the NBA is rolling out a U.S. vs.

World setup, featuring three teams - USA Stars, USA Stripes, and World - competing in a round-robin tournament. It’s a new look for the midseason showcase, and it’s set to unfold over the course of a traditional four-quarter game.

How to Watch NBA All-Star Weekend

All-Star Saturday Night - featuring fan-favorite events like the three-point contest and slam dunk contest - tips off on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. CT from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. You can catch it live on NBC or stream it via Peacock.

The NBA All-Star Game itself is set for Sunday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. CT, also at the Intuit Dome. It will stream exclusively on Peacock, so make sure your streaming setup is ready to go.

So while Thunder fans might be disappointed not to see SGA suit up, Holmgren will carry the OKC banner into the All-Star spotlight. And given the big man’s growth this season - from rim protection to floor spacing - don’t be surprised if he makes the most of the moment.

All-Star Weekend is always a celebration of the league’s elite, but for Oklahoma City, it’s also a reminder: this young core isn’t just the future - they’re already shaping the present.
