Ohio State is gearing up for a big summer on the recruiting trail, with one of their top targets set to visit. Monshun Sales, a highly sought-after five-star wide receiver from Indiana, has marked June 12 on his calendar for his official visit to Columbus. This 6-foot-5, 195-pound standout has also lined up visits to Indiana, Alabama, and Miami, showcasing his broad interest in powerhouse programs.
Sales is turning heads in the recruiting world, ranked as the No. 5 prospect nationally and the top wide receiver in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. His composite ranking is slightly different, placing him at No. 8 nationally but still holding the top spot among wide receivers.
Ohio State is already in a strong position with Jamier Brown, the nation’s No. 2 wide receiver, committed to their 2027 class. The Buckeyes are looking to bolster their receiving corps by pairing Brown with another elite talent.
Sales fits the bill perfectly, as does Florida's Eric McFarland III, another top-tier receiver. Interestingly, McFarland is slated to visit Columbus the same weekend as Sales, setting the stage for a potentially pivotal moment in Ohio State's recruiting efforts.
If the Buckeyes can land both Sales and McFarland, their receiving unit could be one for the ages, making them a formidable force in college football for years to come.
