This custom, initiated by Urban Meyer in 2012 and carried on by Ryan Day, symbolizes a player's readiness to represent Ohio State.
Earl Little Jr., a standout safety, transferred from Florida State, bringing with him an impressive track record. Originally from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Little began his college career at Alabama.
During his time with the Seminoles in 2025, he led the team with 76 tackles and four interceptions, earning second-team All-ACC honors. His playmaking ability was evident, making him a formidable presence on the field.
