Notre Dame Stars Poised to Dominate NFL Combine Breakout Lists

Notre Dame's top prospects gear up for the NFL Combine, aiming to boost their draft stock with standout performances.

The NFL Combine is set to light up Indianapolis this weekend, with top athletes from across the nation showcasing their skills in front of eager NFL scouts. Among the standout performers are six former Notre Dame stars, three of whom have already caught the eye on Bruce Feldman's projected breakout list. These athletes are ready to put on a show and make their mark.

No. 21 - Wide Receiver Malachi Fields

Fields, who previously ranked No. 66 on the Freaks List while at Virginia, brings a mix of size and strength that's hard to ignore. Standing at 6-4 and weighing 218 pounds, he's no stranger to the weight room, having close-grip bench pressed 365 pounds and completed 21 reps of 225.

His athletic prowess is further highlighted by a 38-inch vertical and a 10-7 1/2 broad jump. With impressive shuttle times of 4.18 in the pro agility and 6.81 in the 3-cone drill, Fields' abilities were on full display for the Irish in 2025, where he snagged 36 passes for 630 yards and five touchdowns.

Despite missing the Freaks List in 2025, his standout performances, like the one-handed catch against Pitt, have him climbing draft boards after a strong Senior Bowl showing.

No. 25 - Running Back Jeremiyah Love

Love, who missed the Freaks List last year due to recovery, is now ready to shine. The 6-0, 214-pound former Missouri state 100-meter champion is known for his explosiveness and athleticism.

As the top-ranked running back prospect for the 2026 NFL Draft, Love wrapped up his 2025 season with the Doak Walker Award, a Heisman finalist nod, and 1,372 rushing yards with 18 touchdowns. His decision to participate in every on-field drill at the Combine could cement his status as the No. 1 back and potentially elevate his draft position into the top seven picks.

No. 37 - Tight End Eli Raridon

Raridon, another product of Notre Dame's tight end tradition, is coming off a solid season with 32 catches for 482 yards. At 6-6 and 255 pounds, his athleticism is evident with a 34-inch vertical and a 9-10 broad jump.

Though he didn't score in his final year, Raridon's big-play potential was a key component for the Irish offense. A strong Combine performance could significantly boost his draft stock, even if a first or second-round selection remains a stretch.

Other players, like running back Jadarian Price, might not have made Feldman's list but are expected to impress with their numbers. If Love, Fields, Price, and Raridon, along with offensive linemen Billy Schrauth and Aamil Wagner, perform well, Notre Dame could see all six of their Combine invitees drafted this year.

Stay tuned for more updates as these talented athletes take the stage in Indianapolis!
