Kaydon Finley Praises Notre Dame's 2026 Receivers Featuring NFL Legacy Talent

Notre Dame's 2026 wide receiver class, featuring football legacies like Devin Fitzgerald and Kaydon Finley, is poised to make a significant impact under the guidance of coach Mike Brown.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are making waves with their 2026 wide receiver class, featuring some familiar names from NFL royalty. Among them are Devin Fitzgerald, son of Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald, and Kaydon Finley, son of former Green Bay Packers standout Jermichael Finley. These young talents are poised to make their mark at South Bend, and Kaydon Finley is confident they're ready for the challenge.

Finley shared insights into the strong camaraderie within the group. "I knew Brayden Robinson from Texas, and I met Devin on campus during Junior Day.

Our bond is really strong. I've known Dylan Faison from my visits here, and my roommate Bubba Frazier and I have become really close.

The connection we have is unmatched anywhere else."

Standing at 6-1 and weighing 200 pounds, Finley hails from Aledo, Texas, and brings versatility to offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock's game plan. "I’m a physical player who can attack the ball," Finley explained.

"I’m a smooth route runner with great hands, and I excel in both man and zone coverage. My physical and fearless play is a key part of my game."

Finley’s adaptability allows him to play various positions on the field. "I could be in the field, slot, or boundary outside," he said.

"Right now, I’m in the slot, using my size against safeties and nickels. I can block anyone, whether it’s off the edge or at the linebacker and safety positions."

Finley also praised his classmate Devin Fitzgerald, a 6-2, 197-pound prospect from Arizona. "Devin has strong hands; if the ball touches them, it's a catch.

He’s a good high-point guy with smooth routes and a big body. He’s aggressive and tough to tackle, usually needing more than two guys to bring him down.

Once he’s off the line, he’s going to catch the ball."

This 2026 receiver class is one of the most promising Notre Dame has seen in years. While immediate starting roles might be a stretch, cracking the rotation is well within reach. Receivers coach Mike Brown will play a crucial role in developing this talented group, setting the stage for future success.
