Jeremiyah Love Sparks Frenzy as NFL Teams Vie for Top Draft Pick

With NFL analysts voicing concerns, the Kansas City Chiefs are seen as the potential powerhouse if they land Notre Dames game-changing running back, Jeremiyah Love.

With the NFL Combine in full swing and the Draft just around the corner, the top 10 picks are beginning to take shape. Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is a hot commodity, with several teams eager to add his talents to their roster. However, there's one team everyone seems to agree should not draft him: the Kansas City Chiefs.

Love has been linked to various teams, but the Chiefs are the most frequently mentioned destination. It makes sense-Kansas City is in need of a versatile running back, and Love fits that bill perfectly.

As the draft approaches, the buzz around Love continues to grow, and the rest of the league is collectively hoping he doesn't end up with the Chiefs. The idea of pairing Love with Patrick Mahomes has many teams on edge.

"After spending two days here, the consensus is clear: ‘please do not let Jeremiyah Love fall to Kansas City. Don’t let that happen. Do not give Patrick Mahomes Jeremiyah Love,’” said ESPN NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller.

Miller is convinced that Love stands out as the best player in this draft class. During an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, he didn't hesitate when asked who he thought was the top prospect.

"Jeremiyah Love, running back, Notre Dame," Miller stated emphatically. "I don't think it's close. His performance over the last two years at Notre Dame was phenomenal."

Miller highlighted Love's impressive achievements, including setting the record for the most 90+ yard touchdown runs in Notre Dame's history. He believes Love is a generational talent, capable of making a significant impact in the league, much like Saquon Barkley did when he entered the NFL.
