Courtney Banghart and North Carolina are in the mix for one of the top names in the Class of 2027, and the Tar Heels have landed on the short list for four-star forward Sienna Williams.
Williams trimmed her recruitment to six schools: Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, UNC and Utah. That makes North Carolina the only ACC program still standing in the chase.
A native of Louisville, Colorado, Williams plays at Monarch High School and checks in at 6-foot-3. She is ranked No. 64 overall in the Class of 2027 in the SportsCenter Next 100 rankings.
For UNC, this is another chance to keep building on the recruiting momentum Banghart has established since arriving in Chapel Hill. The staff has put together a strong track record on the trail, and Williams fits the kind of profile they tend to target.
