Liñan's journey in professional baseball began when he was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as a non-drafted free agent in 2022. Over four seasons, he’s accumulated a 16-9 record with a 3.62 ERA, demonstrating his steady development and adaptability across different teams and levels.
On the flip side, Jorbit Vivas, 25, is heading to Washington after experiencing his first taste of Major League action with the Yankees in 2025. While his batting average of .161 over 29 games may not jump off the page, Vivas showed promise during his time with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, hitting .270 and contributing significantly to the team's offense with 43 RBIs and 12 stolen bases.
