The former Yankees star, whose name remains magnetic in New York, is now linked to Meghan Hayden after she marked his 51st birthday with a set of affectionate Instagram Story photos on July 27.
Hayden’s post was the clearest public sign yet that the two are together. She shared four images of the pair at a scenic location, a restaurant, on a yacht and near a swimming pool, then kept the message simple with two red heart emojis. Rodriguez reposted the tribute to his millions of Instagram followers.
“Happy Birthday @Arod,” Hayden wrote.
The birthday post landed after a few weeks of public sightings. Cameras caught Rodriguez and Hayden kissing on July 1 at Michael Rubin’s White Party in the Hamptons, and later reports placed them in Montauk and Sag Harbor. She founded Take Off With Meg, a private platform built around functional movement, mobility and long-term health, and says she has trained New Yorkers since 2015. The site also notes modeling work for Under Armour and Athleta.
In a 2022 wellness interview, Hayden connected her interest in sports medicine to a shoulder injury she suffered in high school. She said rehab changed the direction of her athletic path and introduced her to recovery science.
“I was a kid that lived and breathed athletics,” Hayden said.
Her FGCU profile backs up that multi-sport background, listing four varsity letters, all-state soccer recognition and experience in tennis, track and swimming. Hayden has also worked with ATeam, a fitness-focused dating app, as an investor and founding committee member, and she led a workout event at Surf Lodge in Montauk shortly before Rodriguez’s birthday.
Rodriguez, meanwhile, remains one of the most recognizable names to ever wear pinstripes. He played 22 MLB seasons, hit 696 home runs, collected 3,115 hits and won three American League MVP awards. His defining Yankees moment came in 2009, when he helped deliver the franchise’s 27th World Series title at the new Yankee Stadium.
