Trey Fix-Wolansky Stuns with Incredible Performance for AHL Honor

Trey Fix-Wolansky's standout performance earns him Player of the Week honors as he propels the Wolf Pack closer to the playoffs.

Hartford, CT - Trey Fix-Wolansky is turning heads in the AHL, earning the title of Howies Hockey Tape/AHL Player of the Week for his stellar performance ending March 8, 2026. The Hartford Wolf Pack forward lit up the ice with five goals and two assists over three games, pushing Hartford closer to a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division.

Fix-Wolansky's week kicked off with a goal in a tight 3-2 loss to Providence. But he didn't stop there.

On Friday, he exploded with two goals and two assists, leading the Wolf Pack to a dominant 6-0 victory over Bridgeport, marking his fourth straight season reaching the 20-goal milestone. The momentum carried into Saturday, where he netted two more goals in a 5-2 win against Hershey, extending his point streak to six games with a tally of seven goals and six assists.

This six-game point streak is the longest for any Wolf Pack player this season, and his three-game goal streak is the second longest. In his debut season with Hartford, Fix-Wolansky is leading the charge with 23 goals and 41 points, having played in all 55 games so far in the 2025-26 season.

Hailing from Edmonton, AB, Fix-Wolansky has been a force in the AHL, playing 344 games over seven seasons and amassing 135 goals and 165 assists, totaling 300 points. He's also made his mark in the Calder Cup Playoffs with four goals and nine assists in 23 games.

Drafted by Columbus in the seventh round of the 2018 NHL Draft, Fix-Wolansky has also seen NHL action, scoring four goals and two assists in 26 games with the Blue Jackets.

This recognition marks the first time a Wolf Pack player has been named AHL Player of the Week since Gabe Perreault received the honor in November 2025.
