Celebrating Black History Night at Madison Square Garden
The Rangers are set to honor Black History Night as they face off against the Philadelphia Flyers. This special evening at Madison Square Garden will feature participants from TEAM Hockey in a pre-game clinic. TEAM Hockey, in collaboration with the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and Hockey Haven, provides under-resourced communities with opportunities for athletic, academic, and social development through hockey.
In a show of community support, the Rangers will present IMPAACT Brooklyn with a $10,000 check as part of their Community Captain program. This initiative, supported by Council Member Crystal Hudson and Rangers alumnus Boo Nieves, aims to bolster quality housing and educational services in Brooklyn.
The Junior Rangers Face Off Experience will spotlight Ice Hockey in Harlem, with players enjoying a scrimmage during the first intermission. Additionally, the Garden of Dreams Foundation will host Harlem Dowling for a special pregame activity, reinforcing their mission to nurture confidence and resilience in youth.

The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan saw three Rangers players proudly representing their countries. J.T.
Miller and Vincent Trocheck brought home gold for Team USA, with Mika Zibanejad representing Sweden. Under head coach Mike Sullivan, Team USA's penalty kill was flawless, thanks in part to Miller and Trocheck's stellar performances.
