The New York Knicks have given their fans something to cheer about, snapping a three-game losing streak with a solid win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Even before the game, superfan Ben Stiller was rallying behind his beloved team. Known for his passionate support, Stiller emphasized his unwavering belief in the Knicks, urging everyone to respect the squad that's brought them this far.
Stiller's message was clear: internal struggles aside, it's time to unite and push forward. "I’m not turning on the Knicks," he declared.
"Let’s put some respect on our guys. Whatever internal struggles exist, exist.
Now it’s time to ride with our guys to make it happen because we all want the same thing."
And make it happen they did. The Knicks traveled to Memphis and secured an 11-point victory, marking their 49th win of the season with just five games remaining.
This triumph was particularly impressive given the absence of key players like Jalen Brunson and Mitchell Robinson. OG Anunoby stepped up in a big way, delivering 25 points and 13 rebounds in a commanding 40-minute performance.
Not to be outdone, Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges chipped in with 20 and 24 points, respectively.
Looking ahead, the Knicks are set to return to Madison Square Garden for a matchup against the Chicago Bulls before hitting the road to face the Atlanta Hawks. They'll conclude the regular season with a three-game home stand against the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Charlotte Hornets.
I’m not turning on Knicks. Let’s put some respect on our guys who have gotten us this far. Whatever internal struggles exist, exist. No matter how these final games unfold, the Knicks have secured a playoff spot, building on last year's impressive run to the Eastern Conference Finals. Currently holding third place in the Eastern Conference, they trail only the Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics. Knicks fans, it's time to buckle up for what promises to be an exciting postseason journey.
