After Detroit opened the second quarter with a field goal, New York answered with its first points of the day on Sadiq’s receiving touchdown - the first of his NFL career. Even without Mason Taylor, the Jets’ tight ends have been busy. Jeremy Ruckert has chipped in with multiple catches, and Jelani Woods added a juggling 20-yard grab on the touchdown march.

The Lions have already stressed the Jets with play-action and with Jahmyr Gibbs, both on the ground and through the air. With Detroit’s offense testing the defense in a big way, New York’s ability to keep scoring is going to matter.
