The New York Jets got a scare in the first half of their Week 3 matchup with the Detroit Lions when tight end Kenyon Sadiq went down with an injury.
Sadiq was shaken up in the second quarter after the play and went straight to the medical tent for evaluation. At the time of his exit, he had already put together a productive start, catching two passes for 29 yards and a touchdown.
UPDATE: Sadiq has returned to the game.
There still wasn’t an immediate word on exactly what he was dealing with after entering the tent. The situation appeared to be tied to the touchdown grab itself, which drew attention for how impressive it was and for the fact that it may have been the play on which he was hurt.
