Giants Camp Already Has Fans Watching Two Early Concerns

The New York Giants gear up for their fourth training camp practice with key player updates and ongoing challenges at their West Virginia site.

The Giants are back on the Greenbrier Sports Performance Center field Saturday for their fourth training camp practice, a two-hour unpadded session scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET.

It’s the last workout before the team gets its only off day of the West Virginia trip on Sunday. After that, the Giants are set for six straight practices before heading back to East Rutherford, N.J.

There are a few things worth watching as practice opens. Malik Nabers, who is returning from two knee surgeries, sat out Friday after working the first two days, so the obvious question is whether he’ll be back on the field.

Kayvon Thibodeaux has delivered a big play in each of the first three practices, and Saturday offers a chance to make it four straight.

The other issue hanging over the offense is the false starts. The Giants have piled up too many of them through the first three days, and after another one late in Friday’s practice, the entire first-team offense came off the field. Head coach John Harbaugh refused to admit pulling them off, but it sure looked that way.

And for those keeping score on the setting itself, the Greenbrier continues to impress. Friday evening was my first time on the resort grounds, and it’s a spectacular place.

The Giants are not allowing live tweeting during practice, so updates will have to wait until the session ends. Pre-practice videos and photos will be posted as available, with full practice coverage to follow once the workout is over.

Malik Nabers Just Made The Giants Biggest 2026 Worry Feel Real

Malik Nabers already gave the Giants plenty to feel good about in his rookie year, but the larger concern now is what comes next. The young receiver was productive right away and still came away sounding like a player with more to prove, saying he was not satisfied with his performance and expects to be better once he is fully back to himself.

The problem for New York is that the road back is not simple. Nabers is recovering from a torn ACL and meniscus that required two surgeries, and while the Giants can appreciate both his talent and his mindset, they still do not have a firm timeline for when he will return. Even Week 1 of 2026 remains uncertain, which turns a promising outlook into one of the teams biggest questions heading into next season. [Read more 🡒]

Giants Camp Buzz Is Already Raising Big Questions About Key Youngsters

The early days of training camp under new head coach John Harbaugh have already given the Giants plenty to watch, and a few of the young names drawing the most attention are the ones the organization is counting on to help shape its future. Malachi Fields has turned heads with contested catches in practice, while Malik Nabers continues to work his way back and remain part of the conversation around the offense.

On the defensive side, Abdul Carter has opened camp with a strong first impression, and Kayvon Thibodeaux has flashed the kind of playmaking that can change a session in a hurry, including an interception returned for a touchdown. For a team trying to build momentum under a new staff, the encouraging part is obvious, but the bigger question is how much of this early buzz will translate once the pads stay on and the competition gets real.
