Bleacher Report has pegged the Saints as the best possible landing spot for the six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, and the fit starts with the man calling the shots. Head coach Kellen Moore and Allen were together with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023, when Moore was the offensive coordinator and Allen turned in one of the strongest seasons of his career. In just 13 games, he caught 108 passes for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns.
That kind of production is exactly why Allen makes sense in New Orleans. Allen would give the offense something different: a reliable target working the middle of the field and a steady third-down answer for Tyler Shough.
At 34, Allen wouldn’t be asked to be the whole show.
