The Las Vegas Raiders are making strategic moves to bolster their coaching staff, bringing on board Rick Dennison as the new offensive line coach. This addition reunites Dennison with Klint Kubiak, who recently took the helm as the Raiders' head coach following the Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl LX triumph. Both Dennison and Kubiak were integral parts of Seattle's offensive staff last season.
Dennison, now 67, served as Seattle's run game coordinator and senior offensive advisor in 2025. Before his stint with the Seahawks, he spent 2024 with the New Orleans Saints as a senior offensive assistant.
That year, he collaborated with Klint Kubiak, who was orchestrating the Saints' offense as their coordinator. Andrew Janocko, another key hire from Seattle's staff, will step in as the Raiders' offensive coordinator.
Janocko previously worked with the Saints as their quarterbacks coach in 2024.
The trio of Dennison, Kubiak, and Janocko transitioned to Seattle after the Saints appointed Kellen Moore as head coach in the 2025 offseason. During their tenure in New Orleans, the team faced challenges with a depleted and injury-stricken offense, ranking 21st in total yards, 23rd in passing, and 14th in rushing. Under Moore's leadership in 2025, the Saints saw a slight shift, ranking 23rd in total yardage, 13th in passing, and dropping to 28th in rushing.
Dennison's football journey is rich with experience, having played as a linebacker for the Denver Broncos from 1982 to 1990 alongside Gary Kubiak, Klint's father. Post-retirement, Dennison transitioned into coaching, working under Gary Kubiak and later collaborating with Klint across various teams. His wealth of experience and familiarity with the Kubiak coaching philosophy promise to bring a seasoned perspective to the Raiders' offensive line.
