Josh Allen Reacts To Wife Hailee Steinfeld Being A Die-Hard Broncos Fan

As Josh Allen gears up to face the Broncos in a high-stakes playoff matchup, a viral video of wife Hailee Steinfelds past fandom adds an unexpected twist to the buildup.

Josh Allen is locked in on the postseason, but this week, it was a viral blast from the past involving his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, that had fans doing a double take.

A photo from 2016 resurfaced on social media showing Steinfeld-long before her relationship with the Bills quarterback-rocking a Denver Broncos jacket and doing the dab at a stadium. The timing?

Right around Super Bowl 50, when the Broncos topped the Carolina Panthers 24-10 at Levi’s Stadium. Another clip of her dancing in that same Broncos gear made the rounds online as well, sending fans into a frenzy.

Allen, when asked about the photo, took it all in stride. According to CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson, Allen laughed off the viral moment, saying he had no idea the picture was circulating and joked that Steinfeld was “probably paid to be there.” He added that he had no plans to bring it up at home-smart move.

Allen and Steinfeld began dating in 2023, and by July 2024, the couple went public with their relationship after Allen posted photos of them together on Instagram. Things moved quickly from there.

They got engaged in November and tied the knot in March 2025. Just last month, they announced they’re expecting their first child.

But while the internet had fun with Steinfeld’s throwback Broncos fandom, Allen has his eyes on a much bigger prize: a deep playoff run that could finally land him in the Super Bowl.

The 2024 NFL MVP is coming off a clutch performance in the wild-card round, where he led the Bills to a 27-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. With just over a minute left in the fourth quarter, Allen delivered the game-winning touchdown, capping off a night where he completed 28 of 35 passes for 273 yards and three total touchdowns. It was a signature performance-poised, efficient, and filled with the kind of late-game magic that’s defined his rise.

Now, he’s preparing for a high-stakes divisional round showdown against-who else-the Denver Broncos. The matchup kicks off Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated games of the weekend.

And Allen isn’t the only one sizing up the challenge ahead. On ESPN’s First Take, former NFL defensive end Cam Jordan weighed in on the Bills’ playoff outlook, offering a candid take on Allen’s Super Bowl chances.

“In my mind, I was like, if there is a year to win it-no Joe Burrow, no Lamar, no Pat Mahomes-the AFC that’s normally been in the playoffs the last seven years, this is the year,” Jordan said. “With that being said, now you have to have the Denver Broncos conversation.”

Jordan’s not wrong. The Broncos, under Sean Payton, have turned into a tough out, and Allen will need to be at his best to get past them. But if last week’s performance was any indication, the MVP is playing with purpose-and perhaps just enough swagger to finally take the next step.

So while the internet may be buzzing about Steinfeld’s old Broncos jacket, Allen’s focus is firmly on the present. And if he keeps playing like this, Buffalo might finally get the ending it’s been waiting for.
