On the other side, Simon Nemec has been a standout for Slovakia. In their commanding 6-2 quarterfinal win over Germany, Nemec logged an impressive 21:51 of ice time, showcasing his importance to the team.
Throughout the tournament, he has contributed two assists in four games and has been a key player for Slovakia. This season, Nemec has also made his mark with 20 points in 43 games for the Devils.
