The Baltimore Ravens' receiving corps is solid, but there's room for improvement as they eye the 2026-27 season. One intriguing possibility is adding former New England Patriots star Stefon Diggs, a move that could significantly elevate their offensive game.
Diggs, recently released by the Patriots, is coming off a standout season where he led the team with 1,013 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 85 catches, contributing to a Super Bowl run. Not bad for a player rebounding from a torn ACL at the age of 32. His performance was head and shoulders above the next leading Patriots receiver, Kayshon Boutte, who had 551 yards.
A four-time Pro Bowler, Diggs topped the NFL charts in receptions and receiving yards back in 2020. The Ravens, who are in pursuit of a championship, could be an ideal destination for him. His Maryland roots-born in Gaithersburg, high school at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Olney, and college stardom at the University of Maryland-make the prospect of him playing for Baltimore even more compelling.
While Diggs has had his share of off-the-field issues, his on-field productivity at 32 is undeniable. His sharp route running and knack for exploiting zone coverages make him a formidable presence.
Teaming him up with Lamar Jackson could provide a massive boost for the Ravens' offense, giving Jackson a reliable target as he enters his ninth NFL season. This pairing could be just what Baltimore needs to make a serious Super Bowl push.
