The Patriots got Christian Barmore back in full on Thursday, but the injury picture still got busier in Foxborough.
Marcus Jones was added to the list of non-participants after opening the week without limitations, joining TreVeyon Henderson, Hunter Henry and A.J. Brown on the sideline as New England worked through its second injury report before Sunday’s 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff against the Packers at Gillette Stadium.
Jones was held out because of a foot issue. He has been on the field for every game this season and has played 81.4 percent of the Patriots’ defensive snaps, piling up 41 tackles, one sack and one interception while also averaging 10.9 yards per punt return.
The Patriots’ offensive injury list stayed crowded, too. Henderson has now missed four straight practices with an illness and was downgraded to out on the eve of last weekend’s Miami Dolphins game, along with Brown. Brown has also missed four consecutive sessions after knee concerns were added to the report on top of the high ankle sprain.
Henry is now dealing with back-to-back absences to start the week. The veteran tight end and team captain was first listed as questionable to return before halftime at Hard Rock Stadium because of a foot injury, then was ruled out in the final quarter of the 24-19 AFC East win. He finished with three catches for 30 yards on just eight offensive snaps.
Barmore’s return from illness put him back in full participation alongside Drake Maye, whose throwing shoulder remains on the report. Maye closed out October with a 67.2 completion percentage, 1,199 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, two interceptions and a 119.0 passer rating.
He also ran for 129 yards and two scores. Then, as November began in Miami Gardens, he went 16-of-20 for 199 yards, two passing touchdowns and another on the ground.
Eight Patriots were limited on Thursday, with Brenden Schooler the only new addition to that group. The special teams captain is dealing with a hamstring injury after spending all of training camp and the first four games on the non-football injury list. Since returning from a back issue, he has four tackles in four games.
Mack Hollins and Greg Van Roten also had their 21-day practice windows open as the week began. Hollins landed on injured reserve in early October with a calf injury, while Van Roten went on injured reserve in late September with a hamstring injury.
On the other side, the Packers listed five players as non-participants: Josh Whyle, Travis Glover, Sean Rhyan, Zaire Franklin and Keisean Nixon.
Green Bay also had six players limited, including Marshawn Lloyd, Chris Brooks, Christian Watson, Aaron Banks and Micah Parsons. Parsons was listed as a PUP return.
No players were listed for either team in the final section of the report.

Patriots Special Teams Reset Is Becoming A Bigger Story Than Expected
The Patriots have spent much of 2026 reworking a special teams group that looks noticeably different from the one they carried into last season. Several core contributors from 2025 are gone, and the unit has been rebuilt around younger pieces such as rookies Namdi Obiazor and Erick Hunter, waiver claim Darius Muasau and tight end Cam Latu, giving New England a very different mix of bodies and experience on the kicking game.
So far, the transition has mostly held together. The group has avoided giving up a touchdown, but there have been some issues in kick coverage, which has kept the attention on a phase that usually flies under the radar unless something goes wrong. For the Patriots, the bigger picture is still about developing a young special teams roster while trying to keep the operation steady enough to avoid the kind of hidden-yardage problems that can swing a game. Belichicks Hall Of Fame Push Just Got Real For Patriots Fans
Bill Belichicks Hall of Fame case is moving into a more serious stage, and for Patriots fans, it is the kind of development that brings his legacy back into focus. The former New England coach is among five coaching candidates nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2027, a group that also includes Tom Coughlin, Mike Holmgren, Dan Reeves and Mike Shanahan.
The Halls coaching subcommittee trimmed the field from a larger pool before settling on this group, and only one coach will ultimately make the final class. The Class of 2027 will be announced in February and enshrined in August in Canton, Ohio, leaving Belichicks place in that conversation very much alive as the selection process moves toward its next step. DeMario Douglas Is Making Patriots Free Agency Much Harder
DeMario Douglas has quietly turned a late-season opportunity into a real case for the Patriots to think harder about their future at receiver. With injuries thinning out the position, Douglas has been asked to do more, and he has responded with a level of production and reliability that makes him stand out on a roster still searching for answers in the passing game.
The timing only adds to the intrigue because Douglas is headed for unrestricted free agency after the season. For a team that needs dependable pass-catchers and has watched its receiving room get stretched thin, his recent surge is the kind of development that can complicate everything from roster planning to contract talks, especially if this version of Douglas proves to be the one New England is getting going forward.
