As the Patriots worked through their second injury report of the week, the list of absences grew by one.
Fullback Reggie Gilliam moved from limited to out on Thursday, joining Mack Hollins, Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis III and Karon Prunty among New England’s non-participants as the team prepared for Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff against the Las Vegas Raiders at Gillette Stadium. On the other sideline, wide receiver Jalen Nailor also did not practice because of a concussion.
Gilliam’s week is now trending the wrong way after he was limited to start it with ankle and knee injuries. The former Buffalo Bills fullback has logged 58 offensive snaps and 39 on special teams since arriving at Gillette Stadium on a three-year deal. Last weekend, after entering with a knee issue, he picked up an ankle injury in the first half, was listed as questionable, then returned as a lead blocker on a touchdown run.
Hollins remains out after a non-contact calf injury hit him after halftime in Buffalo. The 33-year-old receiver has been at the center of the passing game in targets, catches and yards, and he was seen hopping to the sideline on one foot after the injury.
The cornerback situation is still messy. Gonzalez had already been ruled out before the trip to Orchard Park because of a shoulder injury, and Thursday marked his fifth straight missed practice.
Davis has now sat out two straight sessions with a neck injury, while Prunty has done the same because of a hamstring issue. Davis played all 59 defensive snaps in the 29-26 AFC East upset, and Prunty, the No. 171 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft, handled 18 snaps on special teams.
New England also listed a sizable group as limited participants. Rhamondre Stevenson, Morgan Moses, Christian Barmore, Dre’Mont Jones, Christian Elliss, Charles Woods, Channing Canada and Craig Woodson were all in that category. The Raiders had Ashton Jeanty, Cody White, Spencer Burford and Trey Zuhn limited.
Stevenson’s status is worth watching after he was banged up at the end of last Sunday’s win. He had already helped produce one of the game’s key moments, as Gilliam helped send him from the goal line to the end zone on a touchdown run.
Stevenson later limped off with a knee injury on the final drive, finishing with 47 rushing yards, 27 receiving yards, a touchdown and a two-point conversion. He has practiced on consecutive days since then.
Barmore is another familiar name on the report. He missed three practices leading into the Buffalo game because of a shoulder injury and was eventually scratched.
Canada, meanwhile, was downgraded on the eve of kickoff because of a hamstring injury. Woods and Woodson, who combined for five tackles and an interception last Sunday, are also dealing with injuries in a thin secondary.
Drake Maye was again listed on the report, though only in a full capacity, and Brenden Schooler moved from limited to full while working back from the non-football injury list. Maye, who had been a full participant on five straight injury reports, threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns with one interception and a strip-sack last weekend, then added a team-high and season-high 54 rushing yards en route to AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
The Patriots still have one open spot on the 53-man roster, and Schooler is set to return to it after his 21-day window was opened in September.

Patriots Face One Big Week 5 Concern Beyond Drake Maye
The Patriots head into Week 5 with plenty of attention on Drake Maye and the offense, but their preparations for the Raiders have also been shaped by what has happened on the other side of the ball. New England has spent the week sorting through matchups, leaning on its defensive strengths while trying to account for a Las Vegas team that brings its own questions on both sides of the line of scrimmage.
Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis have both been out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday, leaving New England with a cornerback situation worth monitoring as the week moves on. Rhamondre Stevenson has also been limited because of the ankle injury that sent him out late in Sundays game, so the Patriots are carrying a few important health concerns into a game that already carries plenty of intrigue beyond the rookie quarterback. A.J. Brown Looks More Right Than Ever About Leaving Eagles
A.J. Browns move out of Philadelphia keeps looking less like a surprise and more like a turning point for both sides. The receiver arrived in New England after rumors of a fraying relationship with Jalen Hurts and a growing sense that the Eagles locker room was not as steady as it once seemed, and the fallout has only sharpened since then as Philadelphias offense has struggled to find its footing.
The bigger picture around the Eagles has only gotten murkier with the kind of roster turnover that can shake a contenders identity. Losing Lane Johnson to retirement and moving Cam Jurgens for future draft picks have added to the unease, and the visible tension around the team has made Browns departure feel even more significant in hindsight for a Patriots team watching the other sideline stumble. Josh Allen Just Shut Down One Patriots-Bills Storyline
Josh Allen spent part of the conversation after Buffalos win over the Patriots shutting down any notion that a knee issue changed the way he ran the ball. The concern had followed a low hit to his left knee in Buffalos Week 3 win over the Chargers, and after New England saw him work through another division game, the question naturally lingered around whether the injury was limiting his mobility.
Allen did not leave much room for that theory, saying there was no truth to the idea and that he felt great. Against the Patriots, he completed 23 of 33 passes for 253 yards with a touchdown and an interception, while also scoring once on the ground, and the Bills now move on with their quarterback insisting the knee is not a storyline at all.
