The NFL and HBO are bringing some serious star power to the next two seasons of the hit series 'Hard Knocks.' This year, the spotlight will shine on the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, while the New England Patriots, led by Mike Vrabel, will take center stage in 2027.
The Seahawks, fresh off their impressive 29-13 victory over the Patriots in Super Bowl 60, are set to captivate audiences this summer. Kenneth Walker III, who earned Super Bowl MVP honors with a dominant 135-yard performance, will be one of the key figures to watch. This exposure comes on the heels of their championship win, and they’re also set to host the NFL Kickoff Game on September 9.
'Hard Knocks' has been a fan favorite since its debut in 2001 with the Baltimore Ravens. Last season featured the Buffalo Bills and their star quarterback, Josh Allen. Now, it's the Seahawks' turn to give fans an inside look at their journey.
Interestingly, neither the Seahawks nor the Patriots have previously appeared on the series. In New England's case, the legendary Bill Belichick was known for his media reticence, making it unlikely HBO could have persuaded him to participate. However, Mike Vrabel's more media-friendly approach promises to offer engaging content for fans when the Patriots take the stage in 2027.
With these powerhouse teams lined up, 'Hard Knocks' is set to deliver an exciting look behind the scenes of two of the NFL’s most compelling franchises.
