The New England Patriots are making waves in the NFL rumor mill with their interest in wide receiver AJ Brown. The Philadelphia Eagles seem open to the idea of trading him, but they're holding out for the right deal. The Patriots have been persistent, and it feels like it's only a matter of time before Brown suits up in New England.
Adding fuel to the fire, former Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman recently stirred the pot by posting a GIF with the phrase, “We're all Patriots,” with the camera panning to Brown. This move sparked plenty of speculation among fans.

Comments flooded in, with fans speculating about Edelman's connections and potential insider knowledge. “They’ve asked Jules about #11 it’s done,” one fan wrote, while another questioned, “What do you know that we don’t Jules?”
Whether Edelman has inside information is anyone's guess, but given his ties to the organization, he might have some insight. He could have even reached out to Brown directly, making him a likely candidate to know if a trade is imminent.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Eagles might consider trading Brown after June 1st due to salary cap implications. On Good Morning Football, Rapoport explained, “If the Eagles traded A.J.
Brown now, it would accelerate $40 million into their cap as dead money. But if they do it after June 1st, it's just $20 million.
That’s a significant difference, so trading him after June 1st makes financial sense.”
As the situation unfolds, all eyes will be on the Patriots and Eagles to see if this trade becomes a reality.
