The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly holding firm in their negotiations regarding A.J. Brown. Despite the New England Patriots' persistent efforts to acquire the former Tennessee Titans standout, even signing Romeo Doubs hasn’t cooled their interest in Brown's talents.
Eagles GM Howie Roseman remains resolute, not budging on his demands unless he's certain there's no way to mend the current situation.
Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos are also showing interest in joining the pursuit for Brown. As Brian Baldinger mentioned to DNVR, there’s a mutual curiosity, albeit tentative, about what the Eagles might require in a trade.
The Broncos could benefit from adding another deep threat. While Courtland Sutton is dependable, quarterback Bo Nix would thrive with additional targets in the passing game. Sean Payton’s squad has been relatively quiet in free agency, counting on returning much of last season’s roster, believing they’re just a few adjustments away from a Super Bowl run.
Incorporating Brown into their lineup could elevate their offensive prowess, despite ongoing questions surrounding Nix’s performance.
However, with the Patriots determined to reunite Brown with Mike Vrabel and the Eagles standing firm on their terms, any potential move might take time to materialize-if it happens at all.
