NC State’s annual Basketball Celebration is set for October 13 in downtown Raleigh, with 1Pack once again putting Wolfpack fans in the middle of the action.
The fourth annual event will take over Raleigh Union Hall and is designed to give supporters a closer look at NC State Basketball than they’d get from a courtside seat. 1Pack, the school’s NIL collective, says there are spots available for the night.
The evening begins with a VIP reception from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., where guests will have a chance to meet members of the men’s and women’s basketball programs. Dinner and a live auction follow from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Scheduled to attend are men’s basketball head coach Justin Gainey, women’s basketball head coach Wes Moore and McMurray Family Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan. Former Wolfpack players Richard Howell, who was part of the 2012 Sweet 16 team, and Casey Morsell, who helped power NC State’s 2024 ACC championship and Final Four run, are also expected to be there.
The auction is loaded with access-heavy items aimed at fans who want more than just a signed item on the shelf. Among the experiences up for bid: traveling with NC State men’s basketball for its game against Tennessee, sitting in two courtside seats for Wolfpack women’s basketball against Virginia, a private dinner with Gainey at The Pit, dinner at home with Moore and his wife, a day with men’s basketball GM Patrick Stacy and a chance to attend a closed practice.
There will also be autographed David Thompson and Spud Webb trading cards, along with signed basketballs, jerseys and other Wolfpack memorabilia. 1Pack says additional premium live auction experiences will be revealed only to guests in the room.
With ticket options available at multiple price points, 1Pack is aiming for its biggest crowd yet. The group says the event is meant to be a memorable way for fans to support the student-athletes who represent NC State, whether they show up for the basketball, the people or the chance to help the program.
“The Celebration gives Wolfpack fans a chance to share an incredible evening with the players, coaches and legends who make this program special,” said Reid Johnson, president of 1Pack. “It’s also a chance to show our student-athletes what Wolfpack Nation can do when we come together. Whether you attend, become a 1Pack member or volunteer your time, there’s a place for you in that effort.”
1Pack is also inviting businesses interested in sponsoring the Celebration or connecting with Wolfpack Nation to reach out for partnership information.
The collective describes itself as supporting NC State student-athletes across all sports through memberships, corporate partnerships, events and community initiatives, bringing together fans, alumni and businesses to create opportunities on and off the field.
