The former Montreal Canadiens forward has been training there while still wearing his Habs gear, but he’s not doing it alone. Laine has been working out alongside Panthers players, a development that only adds to the chatter already circling his next move.
Recent images show Laine joining a workout with several NHL players, including Aaron Ekblad and Alexey Toropchenko. No. 92 was still in Canadiens gear, but his presence around Panthers skaters is the kind of detail that gets noticed fast when rumors are already flying.
He still hasn’t signed a contract for the upcoming season, yet he’s preparing like the schedule is about to begin. The message from his offseason work is pretty clear: he looks motivated to bounce back and make the most of whatever comes next.
