As the NHL takes a breather, the Montreal Canadiens are keeping the spirit alive with their fans through some engaging charity events.
With the regular season set to resume on February 25th and the Canadiens hitting the ice again on the 26th, the team is making the most of the break. This Sunday, fans can look forward to the annual skills competition at the Bell Centre. And on Tuesday, the excitement continues with the third edition of the much-loved Casino Night.
Held at the Cabaret du Casino de Montreal, this event is in collaboration with Air Canada and Loto-Québec, all to benefit the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. The funds raised will help provide children from underserved communities with the chance to stay active and engaged.
Tickets for this event came in three tiers: a private lounge option with four general admissions at $6,000, pre-event VIP access at $1,750, and general admission at $1,000. Unsurprisingly, the event has already sold out, but fans can still participate through the Casino Night Auction.
The auction offers a treasure trove of prizes, from breakfast with Canadiens’ GM Kent Hughes at the Bell Centre on March 26, to access to the morning skate before the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets for a group of 12. It's a golden opportunity to chat with Hughes about his role and decisions. The auction also features eight dream holiday packages, a variety of signed Canadiens’ memorabilia, a piece of art, a Marie-Philip Poulin signed Team Canada jersey, and a Mikael Kingsbury frame.
This auction truly has something for everyone, providing a chance to support a great cause while indulging in some unique experiences. The auction is live now and will wrap up during the event on February 24, at 9:00 PM ET.
