Mizzou men’s basketball has its full 2026-27 schedule in place, and the Tigers will spend plenty of time in league play. Missouri announced Monday in a post on the team’s X account that the regular season will include 32 games, with 18 of them coming against Southeastern Conference opponents.
The season starts Nov. 3 at Mizzou Arena against Cleveland State. Just three days later, the Tigers head to Enterprise Center for an early neutral-site matchup with Saint Louis on Nov. 6.
From there, the schedule ramps into a demanding stretch. Missouri will play five home games to close out November, including a Nov. 13 meeting with Pittsburgh in the SEC/ACC Challenge. The Tigers then stay home for back-to-back games against Kansas on Dec. 1 and Nebraska on Dec. 12 before traveling to Bloomington to face Indiana on Dec. 16, ahead of the Braggin’ Rights showdown with Illinois.
Conference play arrives in force after that. Missouri opens SEC action Jan. 2 at Arkansas, then continues with road games at Oklahoma on Jan. 19 or 20 and Tennessee on Jan. 23 or 24. The Tigers will host Kentucky on Jan. 24 or 25, and both of those matchups are among the key dates on a schedule that also includes showdowns with Vanderbilt, Florida, Georgia and Texas.
Missouri’s other SEC road trips are set for Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M, with those games spread across the conference slate. The Tigers will also face three SEC opponents twice, all on the road first: Arkansas, Florida and Tennessee.
The conference schedule closes with a pair of February home dates against South Carolina and LSU, followed by a March road trip to face UNLV in Las Vegas. Missouri State is also on the preseason exhibition schedule, with that game set for Oct. 23 in Manhattan, Kansas.
The Tigers are coming off a season in which they beat Kansas State 100-71 in last year’s preseason matchup, then finished the regular season 13-18. Missouri hired new coach Casey Alexander to replace Jerom[e] Tang.

Mizzou Just Learned How Brutal Its NCAA Tournament Path Could Be
The SEC has now filled in Missouris 2026-27 basketball calendar, and the result is a 31-game regular season that leaves little room for easing into league play. Mizzou opens conference action on Jan. 2 at Arkansas, then gets a run of heavyweight home dates that will bring Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas to Mizzou Arena. The league slate also includes repeat meetings with Arkansas, Oklahoma and Tennessee, which only adds to the sense that every week in the SEC will feel like a test.
