Mizzou Athletics has locked in its Hall of Fame Class of 2026, and the headliners are familiar names from the football program.
Nick Bolton, Drew Lock and Andy Hill make up the three football inductees in a six-person class that also includes softball’s Ashley Fleming, wrestling’s Daniel Lewis and track and field’s Nicki Webber Moore.
Mizzou Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said the group reflects the standard the department wants to celebrate.
“This year’s Hall of Fame class honors competitors and leaders who elevated our programs, represented Mizzou with integrity and excellence and continue to reflect the values that define our department,” Mizzou Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said. “Their stories and accomplishments have strengthened our tradition and created meaningful legacies that inspire us all. We can’t wait to honor them and celebrate their legacy later this fall.”
The class will be honored at a ceremony on Friday, October 9th in Columbia, then again during Mizzou’s home game against Texas A&M on the 10th.
It’s a strong mix of sports and eras, but the football trio gives the class its biggest spotlight. Bolton, Lock and Hill join a group that spans multiple programs and gives Mizzou a broad cross-section of its athletic history.
The Hall of Fame announcement comes as Mizzou Athletics continues to roll out news across the department. On the basketball side, former Tigers have been active in the NBA Summer League.
Jevon Porter turned in a double-double in the Grizzlies’ second NBASL game, Tamar Bates has been getting run next to Darryn Peterson, and Mark Mitchell had a solid first outing after signing with the Nuggets following the draft. Mitchell earned a start in game two, though he was held scoreless and finished with a quiet stat line overall.
There’s also a sense of anticipation around several other Mizzou programs. Missouri is heading into the season hoping last year’s disappointment was just a blip, not a pattern, with experienced veterans, promising young talent and one of the SEC’s respected coaching staffs still in place. How far that group goes could come down to players who have spent the past two seasons waiting for their chance.
Volleyball is carrying its own edge into the new year after missing the NCAA Tournament last season.
And on the tennis side, new head coach Robin Goodman arrives in Columbia with a résumé that suggests immediate credibility. He most recently served as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Tennessee, where he helped guide the Lady Volunteers to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and a top-20 national ranking. Before that, Goodman spent five seasons building Pacific’s men’s program into a conference contender, winning West Coast Conference Coach of the Year honors after a 19-6 season and a run to the NIT Championship final.

Missouris SEC Media Days delegation gives a pretty clear snapshot of where the Tigers think their storylines are headed entering the fall. Junior linebacker Nicholas Rodriguez, senior left tackle Cayden Green and redshirt junior running back Jamal Roberts will join Eli Drinkwitz in Tampa from July 20-23, with Drinkwitz set to speak on July 20. It is a mix that covers all the usual pressure points: defense, protection and the backfield, while also giving a few key players their first chance to represent the program on that stage.
Roberts inclusion is the one that stands out most for what it says about the offenses immediate priorities. Missouri still has uncertainty around its top running back situation, and if the depth chart shifts the way the Tigers fear it might, Roberts would be the next man up. The Nike EYBL regular season wrapped in Las Vegas with several Missouri Class of 2027 targets making their final push before Peach Jam, and the timing only sharpened the attention around this group. The Tigers already have a foothold with one 2027 commit in the mix, while other priority names kept stacking productive weekends for teams that earned their way to Augusta, giving Missouris staff plenty to track as the circuit shifts from evaluation mode to the biggest stage of the summer.
Barnes, Cleveland, Mitchell and Frazier all had stretches that reinforced why they remain on the radar, whether it was Barnes doing a little of everything for Brad Beal Elite, Cleveland carrying scoring load after scoring load, Mitchell flashing versatility on both ends, or Frazier continuing to show up in the right spots. Peach Jam now becomes the next checkpoint, and for Missouri, it is the kind of event that can quickly separate a long list of targets into the names that feel closest to becoming real priorities.
