Mizzou Athletics has been stacking commitments across the board over the last two weeks, with football leading the charge and baseball, softball, and track and field/cross-country all adding pieces as well.
On the football side, Missouri landed a wave of 2027 talent beginning June 21, when 6-foot-5 offensive tackle Jaylen Hill announced his pledge after an official visit. The Lanett, Alabama native chose the Tigers over Arkansas, MS State and South Carolina. Hill was regarded as one of the top 50 players in Alabama and the third-ranked player at his position.
Later that same day, Missouri added another defensive piece in 6-foot-4 cornerback T’ari Miller. The South Florida three-star committed after his official visit, picking the Tigers over Georgia, Florida State, Miami and South Florida. Miller sits inside the top 500 nationally and is a top 100 player in the Sunshine State.
The momentum kept rolling on June 22. Four-star offensive lineman Kyler Kuhn, a Kansas City native, committed to Missouri over Iowa, Nebraska, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana and Tennessee, among others. Ranked No. 231 by 247Sports and the fifth-best player in Missouri, Kuhn became the sixth four-star in the 2027 cycle and the Tigers’ 17th overall commitment.
Also on June 22, running back Kingston Miles flipped from Auburn to Missouri, giving the Tigers their 18th commitment in the 2027 class. Miles is a consensus top 10 recruit in Missouri and was a top 250 prospect per On3. He also held offers from Alabama, Ole Miss and Michigan State.
Missouri’s football run continued on June 30 with the addition of three-star wide receiver Charles “Tre” Britton III. The 5-foot-11 Michigan native announced his commitment to the Tigers over Michigan, Miami, Alabama, Indiana and Illinois on CBS Sports’ College Football YouTube page. Britton became Mizzou’s 19th addition in the 2027 class.
Women’s basketball got its first commitment of the Class of 2027 on July 3, when 6-foot-2 shooting guard Katie Muller chose Missouri. The West Des Moines native and Missouri Phenom player is the No. 2 prospect in Iowa and picked the Tigers over kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. She also joins her sister, Ellie, who is a freshman this season.
Baseball brought in a mix of transfers and familiar in-state names. Former Texas pitcher Jadyn Fergason committed on June 24. The right-hander, listed as the 10th-best player in Missouri in the class of 2025, throws a 92-95 mph fastball and redshirted his freshman season.
On June 30, former Michigan State outfielder Khamaree Thomas announced his commitment. Thomas hit .319 in 2026, finished with 58 hits and 31 RBI, and earned the Spartans’ Steve Garvey Most Improved Player award.
The Tigers added another arm on July 1 when St. Louis native Adam Kilburn committed after pitching at San Jacinto Community College. The right-hander struck out 15 batters in 14 innings in 2026.
Also on July 1, Missouri native Charlie Wortham announced his commitment after transferring from Mississippi State. Wortham, ranked the No. 1 catching prospect in Missouri in the class of 2025, redshirted his freshman season.
Then on July 3, Missouri picked up what could be the biggest baseball commitment of the bunch when High Point transfer Seojun Oh chose the Tigers. The Big South Player of the Year hit .351 and led High Point in batting average, and per Eli Hoff, he drew interest from plenty of SEC programs.
Track and field/cross-country added two names as well. Pima Community College sprinter Jake Applegate committed on June 22 after running a personal best in the 110m hurdles at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Illinois State multis specialist Ryan Schaefer signed with Missouri on June 25. Schaefer, the 2025 American Conference Runner of the Year, finished second in the heptathlon at the MVC Conference Championships.
There were also two departures in the distance and middle-distance group. Drew Rogers, a distance standout and SEC champion, announced his commitment to New Mexico on June 26. Andrew Hauser later announced his commitment to Saginaw Valley State University on June 29.
Softball added two transfer pieces during the stretch. On June 21, Middle Tennessee shortstop Jana Want committed to Missouri.
The former Conference USA Freshman of the Year played in 104 games over two years, batting .325 with 15 home runs and 64 RBI. Want became the Tigers’ second transfer of the offseason, joining South Carolina pitcher Nealy Lamb, who had committed earlier in the month.
On June 25, Georgia transfer Tyah Charlton also committed to the Tigers. The infielder had eight hits in 38 at-bats in Athens, along with a home run and six RBI, and is expected to fill a bench role in Columbia.
Missouri also added a pitching commitment on June 30, though the player has not been officially announced yet. The commitment came from the Big 12, according to Larissa Anderson and Connor Mammola bat signals.

Pro Football Focus preseason rankings gave Missouri a notable spotlight, placing Ahmad Hardy at No. 6 overall on its top 50 list for the 2026 college football season. That puts the Tigers running back ahead of every other SEC player on the board and in the same neighborhood as some of the sports biggest names, a reminder of how quickly Hardys profile has risen after his breakout work.
The buzz around that recognition comes with an uneasy edge, though, because Hardys status for the start of the season remains unsettled. Missouri has one of the conferences most respected offensive weapons sitting in rare company on a national list, but until the Tigers know what theyll have from him when the games begin, the ranking feels a little more like a spotlight than a certainty.
