Missouri basketball now has its SEC roadmap for 2027, and the league slate opens with a trip to Arkansas on Saturday, Jan. 2.
The Southeastern Conference released the full conference schedule for its men’s teams on Monday, July 27, giving Dennis Gates’ Tigers a clear look at the 18-game grind ahead. Missouri’s regular season will wrap up at home against LSU on March 6 at Mizzou Arena.
The Tigers will get their first home SEC game shortly after the opener, hosting Texas A&M on Jan. 5 or Jan. 6.
From there, Missouri’s home schedule in Columbia includes Kentucky on Jan. 9, South Carolina on Jan.
16, Alabama on Jan. 26/27, Ole Miss on Jan.
30, Tennessee on Feb. 6, Oklahoma on Feb.
16/17, Arkansas on Feb. 23 and LSU on March 6.
On the road, Missouri’s SEC trips will take it to Tennessee on Jan. 12/13, Oklahoma on Jan.
19/20, Vanderbilt on Jan. 23, Mississippi State on Feb.
2/3, Florida on Feb. 13, Auburn on Feb.
20, Georgia on Feb. 27 and Texas on March 2/3.
Tipoff times and television assignments will be announced later.
Missouri’s nonconference schedule is still not fully set, but several dates are already known. The Tigers will play five neutral-site games in November and December: Saint Louis on Nov. 6 at Enterprise Center, Marquette on Nov. 15 in Chicago, Kansas on Dec. 6 at T-Mobile Center, Nebraska on Dec. 12 at T-Mobile Center and Illinois on a TBD date at Enterprise Center.
Gates’ team will also host Pittsburgh in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Dec. 1, and the Tigers reportedly are finalizing an agreement to play Indiana on Dec. 18 in Bloomington, Indiana.

Mizzous Full 2026-27 Schedule Is Set And Fans Will Have Thoughts
Missouris mens basketball schedule is now complete for 2026-27, and it gives fans plenty to sort through before the season even tips. The Tigers will play a 32-game regular-season slate that mixes home dates, road tests and neutral-site matchups, with a preseason exhibition against UNLV on Oct. 29 helping set the tone for Year 5 of Dennis Gates tenure.
The nonconference portion is especially busy, with high-major opponents sprinkled throughout and the annual Braggin Rights meeting with Illinois again looming as one of the marquee dates on the calendar. Missouri also has a road trip to Indiana and neutral-site games against Marquette, Kansas, Nebraska and Illinois, while the expected final game of the three-game Howard series appears headed to a later year, leaving one small wrinkle in an otherwise fully mapped-out schedule.
