Mizzou Fans Are About To See A Big Tiger Team Store Change

Discover how a new partnership with retail veteran Follett Higher Education Group is set to enhance the Mizzou fan experience at the Tiger Team Store.

Mizzou Athletics is handing off operations of the Tiger Team Store to Follett Higher Education Group, with the change set to begin July 1.

The shift comes as the new, expanded store inside Memorial Stadium’s soon-to-be-completed North End Zone prepares to open, and it follows a competitive RFP process that Mizzou used to look at ways to keep growing its retail business.

Follett will run the locations at Memorial Stadium, including the main Team Store, which will have regular weekday hours, along with sites at Mizzou Arena, Hearnes Center and other Mizzou Athletics venues on event days. The school said fans should see a smooth changeover, with the same service, merchandise and Mizzou-focused experience they’re used to.

“This partnership represents another meaningful investment in the Mizzou fan experience,” Mizzou Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said. “The Tiger Team Store has long been an important part of the Mizzou Athletics experience, and we are grateful to our University partners who have successfully operated and grown the store for many years. As we look ahead, this transition allows us to build on that strong foundation while partnering with Follett, whose expertise in collegiate athletics retail creates additional opportunities for innovation and long-term growth.”

Follett Higher Education says it brings more than 150 years of experience in higher education and reaches more than 20 million shoppers each year through campus and athletics retail operations across the country. The company says it focuses on integrated, in-venue experiences built to strengthen school pride and deepen fan engagement.

“We are proud to partner with Mizzou Athletics to build on the strong tradition of the Tiger Team Store,” said Stephen Bone, Chief Stores Officer at Follett Higher Education. “Our focus is on delivering a seamless transition while introducing new opportunities to engage fans, celebrate school spirit, and support the continued growth of Mizzou'sathletics programs.”

Mizzou said the opening date for the new Memorial Stadium store will be announced once construction moves further along and occupancy timelines are set. The Memorial Stadium location will be open during regular business hours as well as football game days, while the Mizzou Arena Team Store will go back to operating on arena event days.

Mizzou Just Landed Another Receiver Commitment That Could Matter Big

Missouri picked up another piece for its future receiver room, adding a prospect who had already drawn plenty of attention on the recruiting trail. The Tigers beat out Michigan for the commitment after the youngster had taken a close look at Ann Arbor, giving Mizzou another win in a battle that suggests the staff is not just filling out classes but trying to land players other major programs want too.

The timing matters because this one adds to a broader run of connection points around the program, from football recruiting to familiar faces moving elsewhere in the sport. Mizzou also saw baseball add transfer Khamaree Thomas from Michigan State, while former Tiger LDamian Washington has moved on to become the wide receivers coach at Ole Miss, another reminder that Missouri names keep popping up in different corners of the college game. Robin Goodmans Latest Roster Move Says A Lot About Mizzous Direction

Robin Goodmans first roster addition since taking over at Mizzou says plenty about the direction he wants the tennis program to take. The Tigers announced the signing of Mariana Higuita Barraza from Medellin, Colombia, giving Goodman an early piece to work with as he begins shaping the roster in his own image.

Higuita Barraza arrives with experience in professional events and a WTA doubles ranking of 850, along with the kind of background that suggests she can add immediate maturity to the lineup. She also picked Mizzou for the blend of Division I athletics and academics, a fit that matters as Goodman starts building a program he hopes will reflect both competitive ambition and classroom standards. Mizzou Just Added An SEC-Tested Infielder Fans Will Want To Watch

Mizzou softball has continued to build out its roster for 2027, and the latest addition brings a little more SEC seasoning to Columbia. Head coach Larissa Anderson announced the Tigers have added junior infielder Tyah Charlton, a two-year starter at Georgia who gives Mizzou another option in the dirt and more flexibility as the roster takes shape.

Charlton arrives with a strong prep rsum, too, having earned two-time All-State honors before heading to the SEC. She becomes the third player to join Mizzous 2027 roster, and the move adds another layer to a group that is still coming together, with Anderson clearly betting on both the depth and upside Charlton can provide.
