Missouri Lands 2026 Safety With Deep Family Ties to the Program

Missouri secures a homegrown talent with deep ties to the program as its latest addition to the 2026 recruiting class.

Missouri’s 2026 recruiting class continues to take shape with a strong in-state presence, and the latest addition brings both legacy and versatility to the table. MICDS (Mo.) safety Graham Faust has officially committed to the Tigers, adding another dynamic piece to an already promising group.

Faust is no stranger to Columbia. He’s made multiple visits to campus and attended camps over the years, building familiarity with the program. There’s also a family connection - his father, Vic Faust, suited up for Mizzou as a tight end, making this commitment a full-circle moment for the family.

At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Faust brings size and athleticism to the defensive backfield. He was a true three-phase contributor during his senior season, making plays on offense, defense, and special teams.

But it was at safety where he truly stood out, racking up 94 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble - production that earned him First-Team St. Louis All-Metro honors and the title of Metro League Defensive Player of the Year.

Missouri extended an offer to Faust on January 20th, and he chose the Tigers over offers from Air Force, Miami (Ohio), Missouri State, and Eastern Michigan.

Faust becomes the fifth player to commit to Missouri during the late signing period, joining a group that’s heavy on homegrown talent. He’ll be part of a class that includes running back Preston Hatfield and wide receiver Karsten Fiene from Lee’s Summit, defensive tackle Jocques Felix from Cardinal Ritter, and Liberty North cornerback Trashundon Neal.

With 19 players already signed during the Early Signing Period in December, Missouri continues to build a class that blends local pride with on-field production. Faust’s commitment adds another layer of physicality and football IQ to the Tigers’ secondary - and given his all-around impact at the high school level, he’s a name to watch as the 2026 class develops.
