The Minnesota Vikings are putting a few familiar and fresh looks on display for their 2026 home slate, and the season opener against Green Bay will set the tone right away.
On Sunday, Sept. 13, the Vikings host the Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium in their classic uniforms, with the team tying the opener to the 25th Anniversary of 9/11. Kickoff is set for 3:25 p.m.
The uniform rollout continues across the home schedule. Minnesota will debut its “Rivalries” uniforms in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions, then bring back the fan-favorite “Winter Whiteout” look in Week 16 against Washington. The team’s home themes also include the popular “Winter Warrior” designation for the Commanders game.
There’s also a major individual honor on the calendar. Former MVP Adrian Peterson will become the Vikings’ 29th member of the Ring of Honor when Minnesota hosts the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, Nov.

McCarthy is pressing the issue alongside Kyler Murray, and the way he has handled the offense early has made this feel like a real battle rather than a handoff to the presumed favorite. The Vikings are still in evaluation mode, with the coaching staff watching both passers closely and leaving the door open.
McCarthys comfort level in Kevin OConnells system has helped sharpen the picture, while Murray is still working through the process of getting fully synced with the playbook.
