Justin Jefferson could be in line for a big rebound, and Vikings fans made that clear in this week’s SB Nation Reacts poll.
Asked how many receiving yards Jefferson will finish with after a rough 2025 season, the biggest chunk of respondents picked the 1,400-to-1,599-yard range. That option led the way with 34% of the vote. Right behind it was the 1,200-to-1,399-yard range at 33%, which kept the race tight from top to bottom.
A strong 19% of voters think Jefferson will push past 1,600 yards again. Another 9% landed in the 1,000-to-1,199-yard range. The final 4% of respondents, apparently, are Bears, Lions, or Packers fans.
Honestly, what other explanation is there?
If Jefferson lands anywhere near the neighborhood the poll suggests, he’ll be climbing some major franchise lists in the process. He enters the season needing 1,520 yards to become just the second player in Vikings history to reach 10,000 receiving yards in purple, joining Cris Carter. Carter finished with 12,383 receiving yards as a Viking, while Jefferson already sits at 8,480.
And even if Jefferson merely gets back over 1,000 yards, there’s another milestone waiting. That would move him past Randy Moss for the second-most receiving yards in franchise history.
Moss totaled 9,316 yards across his two stints with Minnesota - yes, the second one counts, even though we’ve largely tried to forget about it. Moss needed 113 games to get there, while Jefferson is only 836 yards away in 94 games.
