A Cubs fan turned into the night’s biggest talking point Friday when TV cameras caught a shirt that was impossible to miss. During the Twins-Cubs game, a man in the crowd was shown wearing a shirt that read: “I got my prostate examined on Epstein Island.”
The image spread fast once a screenshot hit X, and plenty of viewers were stunned the broadcast picked it up at all. The reaction online came just as quickly, with fans treating the moment like a bizarre must-see cameo. “You know when you see someone and you just say ‘I’d like to have a beer with that guy - I feel like he’s got a lot to say’,” one person wrote.
Others piled on with their own jokes. “Not the worst idea, he knew all the best scientists and doctors,” another user commented.
“You know some Karen was offended and let him know why. 😂,” a third person added. “Guess who’s ordering one for a family trip to Mexico,” one fan wrote.
The shirt’s brief run on live television came during a rough night for Chicago on the field. The Cubs fell to the Twins 5-2 on Friday, with Ryan Jeffers breaking things open with a three-run homer in the third inning and Bailey Ober striking out seven over 5 1/3 innings for Minnesota.
Chicago was back at Wrigley on Saturday trying to even the weekend series after dropping the opener. At the time of writing, the Cubs were leading the Twins 5-1.
