When veteran guard Mike Conley was traded from the Chicago Bulls to the Charlotte Hornets, it seemed he wouldn't suit up for the Hornets. Fast forward two weeks, and Conley is officially back with the Minnesota Timberwolves after being bought out.
Conley started the season with the Wolves, but on February 3rd, Minnesota traded him as part of a salary dump. This move included a deal that sent Conley and Coby White to Charlotte in exchange for Collin Sexton. The Hornets quickly waived Conley, paving the way for his return to Minneapolis on a more team-friendly contract.
Now in his 19th NBA season, Conley might be posting career-lows in several statistical areas, but his leadership is a prized asset for the Wolves as they gear up for a potential NBA Finals run.
Speaking of Conley, he currently ranks 23rd on the NBA's all-time made three-pointers list. It's a great time to test your knowledge-how many of the top 25 can you name in five minutes? Good luck!
